Meet Dr. Ally Easterly
Founder/Owner/Doctor of Physical Therapy
I started KCA Physical Therapy in 2023 because I want to be able to provide the highest caliber of care, to ensure I’m working in step with you to reach your goals for physical therapy, whatever they may be! I know that physical therapy is not the only thing you have going on in your life, which is why I pride myself on being able to come up with a plan of care for every patient that accommodates your needs. I truly understand this being a factor because there are many factors to my life. Let me tell you about them.
I am a doctor of physical therapy. I have been specializing in pelvic health for the last few years and have been extensively trained through Herman & Wallace, the APTA, and various other educational institutes. I am a certified Prenatal/Post-partum Corrective Exercise Specialist (PCES) but what I love most about this specialty is the way it overlaps with every other type of physical therapy. I am also a certified NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) and an RRCA level 1 running coach. Education is very important to me, evident in my multiple degrees (BS in mechanical engineering from Boston University, MS in exercise science from California University of PA, and DPT from Nova Southeastern University). All of that education is for YOUR benefit, so I have an overabundance of tools to help you.
I am a runner. I have been a runner since I was very young, and running injuries are what led me to physical therapy as a career path. I’ve experienced first-hand how the quality of physical therapy can make all the difference in returning to sport post-injury. I am a distance runner, competing through high school and college, and while on active duty, was a member of the Air Force marathon team. I continue to race and compete whenever possible. I love our running community in NW Florida!
I am an Air Force Reserve officer. I was previously on active duty for almost 10 years and have been serving as a Reserve officer since 2016. I am currently part of a Reserve unit on Hurlburt AFB. If you are military, past or present, in any capacity, believe me, I understand the demands and sacrifices of your lifestyle.
I am a wife and a mom. I have been married to my husband since 2012, who was also active duty Air Force until he retired in 2023. Together we have 4 daughters who keep us EXTREMELY busy. Our oldest two do competitive gymnastics through USAG and our oldest is also a life-long ballet dancer. Our third is trying to compete with her sisters for who can do the most sports at one time, adding swimming to gymnastics and dance! Our fourth is just along for the ride right now!
I’m looking forward to working with you, and fixing what limits you—for good!

Before embarking on her physical therapy career, Dr. Shannon was an accomplished athlete. She began gymnastics at 18 months old and continued for 17 years, which laid the foundation for her understanding of movement and performance. Her transition into pole vaulting during her undergraduate years at NSU further honed her athletic skills. She competed as a senior pole vaulter on NSU’s Track and Field team, balancing her athletic pursuits with academic commitments.
Dr. Shannon's passion for pelvic health led her to specialize in pelvic floor rehabilitation, where she brings advanced skills and compassionate care to her patients. She is also certified in dry needling, utilizing innovative techniques to complement her treatment strategies.
Outside of her professional achievements, Dr. Shannon is a devoted wife to Ian and a proud mother of two daughters, Elliott and Adeline. The family enjoys outdoor activities such as paddle boarding, free diving, rock climbing, and biking to the beach. They share a love for travel, exploring new places and cultures together.
